Alright, alright. I've got some 'splaining to do. Been away for what feels like a reeeeeealy long time. You're probably wondering if I got stepped on by a mammoth or eatin' by a sand snake (sorry, The Croods has been on repeat in my house lately). Well, no. Neither of these prehistoric fates have befallen me. Rather, my whole world has changed. (See, I have a good explanation after all!) I quit my job, moved six hours away from my previous residence, started graduate school full-time, and got a new job all while raising those two lovely little people, my muses. :) It's really been a ride for the ages, it's tough, but God has been seeing us through it all, truly blessing us every step of the way.

So, in all of the commotion, I did do a little of the things I love - photography, thrifting, kids' fashion - but I didn't have time to post it all for your viewing pleasure. So, what changed? Why am I talking to you now? Why have I taken up, yet again, the blogger's mantel? Well, unfortunately, the time situation hasn't improved. I still have like no time, BUT today I took some pictures that I can't wait to post. And in my slightly impatient need to post the latest pictures, I made a decision: As the year is quickly coming to a close, we won't worry about chronology so much; we can review the year's fun and fashion together a little at a time....darling, dashing, and debonair.
